Contribute to support more positive local storytelling.
SupportGratefully, many of our older neighbours and local farmers are contributing to Landcare, but...Intrepid Landcare is not your usual on the ground ‘Landcare group’! Intrepid Landcare is, "an adventurous organisation that empowers young people to lead on stuff that matters".

Gippsland Intrepid Landcare is a volunteer organisation that aims to inspire and empower young Australians to join local environmental initiatives in their communities - like the excellent tree planting event happening this weekend in Woolami.
Gippsland Intrepid Landcare is free to join and there is a bevvy of adventurous projects and activities to explore all across our precious region. If you're aged between 18-35 and care about our incredible environment, then we recommend you grab some friends and come along this weekend to the first Gippsland Intrepid Landcare Project. No previous experience is needed, as you'll gain plenty while you contribute to a mammoth revegetation project of 24,000 indigenous plants!
Udder & Hoe, one of Gippslandia's favs for organic goods, are putting on a delicious spread for all those that sign-up and get planting, and you can even stay at a nearby campsite. As the team from Gippsland Intrepid Landcare have informed us, "it's frequented by Powerful Owls (Australia's largest owl, a threatened species and one with a bad-ass name!), koalas and a plethora of other local flora and fauna".
To sign-up for this fine event and contribute to making a difference, head to the event Facebook page.
