Each milestone achieved over the past 40 years is a testament to Loy Yang's resilience and dedication to providing consistent and reliable energy generation.

The site has provided thousands of employment opportunities to the local community over the years, owing its long-lasting success to the dedication and expertise of its workforce. At this significant milestone, we celebrate the local people who have worked tirelessly over the last four decades building a community on- and off-site, making it a workplace to be proud of.
In celebrating the anniversary at the site, there will be an all-staff luncheon, an interview panel with former Loy Yang management team members and a stroll down memory lane through a museum of memorabilia and a gallery of photographs from Loy Yang’s celebrated history.
Looking ahead, Loy Yang is poised to continue its legacy of reliable energy generation while embracing the challenges and opportunities of the evolving energy sector.
