It’s known as the ‘festive season’ for a reason.
In early December 2019, it was a whole lot of fun to have so many of the Gippslandia family come celebrate with us. There wasn’t just one event to clink glasses over. No, the evening was like a proud slashie (i.e. an actor/DJ/artist) — Gippslandia closed off the year by launching our first cookbook, opening a pop-up store and it was our third birthday!
It was amazing to share the entire project with you, and we are grateful for the support from the One Good Community Wellbeing Grants.
Many thanks to all who joined us and the many people who frequented our pop-up store in Traralgon — we couldn’t do this without you, and we’re looking forward to launching into new projects with you again soon.
A night like this wouldn’t have been possible without the support and hard work of many.

(Islynde, from Island Graze, only launched her business last year and has loved learning about all the amazing Gippsland growers and producers, which she showcases in her grazing platters. Local producers featured at the Gippslandia event included Maffra Cheese, Tarago River Cheese, the edible florals and herbs of Bon In The Garden, Postcode Hives honeycomb and many others.)
A huge shoutout to all the makers and artists:
