We can now introduce Festival Director & Creative Consultant, Ros Abercrombie.
With over 20 years experience in the Arts and Festival Industry, Ros has a wealth of knowledge in the crossover of creativity and business.
Ros specializes in strategic design, project conception, content and artistic direction and identity brand development.

Ros is currently the Creative Producer for Artlands Victoria. Celebrating twenty years in 2018, Artlands is the biennial event that shines a national spotlight on Australia’s regional arts. Scheduled by Regional Arts Australia (RAA), the national advocacy body for state-focused regional arts organisations, Artlands circulates around the country among its member organisations. Last presented by Regional Arts Victoria in 2004 as Meeting Place in Horsham, Artlands Victoria is Australia’s largest regional arts event will be an artistically driven and strategically distributed gathering.
Recent projects include Festival Director and CEO Shepparton Festival, Creative Director Illuminate Festival, Creative Director for Moomba Festival and New Year’s Eve Melbourne. Prior to this, Ros completed a three-year contract in Hobart successfully directing and delivering the annual Taste Festival – Tasmania’s premier summer event. Other previous positions have included Artistic Director for On the Map, Festival Director for Mudfest10 – Melbourne University Diversity Festival, and the direction and delivery of three Moonee Valley Festivals (2005, 06 & 07). Prior to this Ros initiated and produced a multi-arts venue ‘96F’ for the Centre for Adult Education.
Ros’ qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, BA Hons Social Anthropology and relevant industry certificates. A keen facilitator of knowledge Ros is currently completing a Masters in Applied Anthropology and has lectured for several years at Melbourne University.
